The inspiration for the Mythos series comes from a trip to Greece and specifically a visit to the Museum of Thessalonica which featured the exhibition "The Treasures of Mount Athos." In this exhibition were numerous Byzantine documents with an astonishing array of exquisite period calligraphy.
